House District 28

Dear Neighbor,

I am Jimmie C. Hall a Republican running for re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives in District 28. District 28 is located in the Far Northeast Heights. You can use the link below for a view of the District. As a businessman, husband, and father, I understand how busy life can be, and how important it is to access information as quickly, and easily, as possible. I hope this web site provides you with that information.

Like our beautiful state, the land of enchantment, the members of the State Legislature are unique. We are a citizen legislature (one of only two states) which means we don’t receive a salary.

Most of us have jobs and have to figure out how to take about 100 days a year off to address constituent and state interest. We have no year round office and no personal staff. The New Mexico Legislature meets for a 60 day session in odd years and a 30 day session in even years. We have an interim committee structure that meets on a monthly basis from May through December.

Please feel free to get to know me by clicking on the "BIOGRAPHY" link above, or to learn about my positions on various issues by clicking on the "ISSUES" link above. If you really like what you see, please click on the "GET INVOLVED" link where you can sign up for my email list, request a yard sign, or even volunteer.

Please come back because I'll be updating this site as we head to the June 1st, 2010 Primary Election and the General Election on November 2nd, 2010. I do respond to emails so don’t hesitate to email me at or call me directly at 294-6178. I encourage you to stay in touch with me on the issues most important to you. It is your input and involvement in the political process that makes New Mexico a great place to live and work. I ask for your vote.
